My name is Milton Motooka, I am one of the founders of the Hawaii Chapter of the Community Association Institute (“CAI”). Since its inception in 1985, CAI has provided educational seminars for the community associations in the State of Hawaii. I have served as the Programs Chairman for CAI for over 25 years and been involved in planning hundreds of programs for community association Board members and property managers.
We recently held a program on the growing problem of violence affecting community associations and dealing with angry owners to avoid physical harm to the leaders, employees and residents in community associations.
